Founder's Message

Welcome to the May 2010 issue of the Biomatrica Newsletter.

Founder_messageBiomatrica's technology is enjoying tremendous interest across our customer base in academia, large pharma, biobanks and forensics. At the same time, our product portfolio has grown to include custom solutions for blood and buffy coat storage within large biobanks. We are also expanding our network of global distribution with the addition of Micronic NA (US, Canada, and South America), Cultek (Spain) and Genozon (China), bringing to almost 20 global distrubtion partners. A key strategic initiative for Biomatrica this year is to build a network of scientific collaborators and technology partners in order to develop and commercialize products that offer a highly flexible platform for sustainable biospecimen storage and management - eco-friendly ("green" technology), cost effective, energy efficient, and workflow optimized.

This is a year of innovation and significant product expansion for Biomatrica. Our promise to you is to continue to innovate and deliver industry-leading technologies, in collaboration with academia and industry partners via our newly established Biomatrica ConnectTM partnership program.

Best regards,

Judy Muller-Cohn, Ph. D.
Founder and CEO

Featured Product

DNAstable Liquid

A liquid format version of Biomatrica's popular DNA stabilization product - DNAstable - is now available for purchase. This liquid format fits within high throughput sample handling and automated workflow and protocol requiring continuous use of sample tubes or plates for storage. In the liquid format, DNAstable (liquid) can be added to purified gDNA samples stored in tubes or plates within a workflow, and then dried down (Speedvac or laminar flow-hood) in the same plates or tubes for optimal long-term storage. This product is available for purchase in three size formats - 2ml, 10ml and 50ml. For more information about this product, please contact Biomatrica at contact@biomatrica.com or call 1-866-379-6879.

Trial Samples

Biomatrica offers FREE trial samples for DNAstable, DNAgard, RNAstable, Clonestable, PCRboost, STRboost and SampleWare. To receive any of these products, please complete and submit the request form.
